Dow Stock Sellers - As you pay attention to the Dow Jones Industrial Average stock index chart example above, the more you will start to appreciate what’s telling us about the power and aggression of stock sellers. In a way that most stock investors never really notice, because it’s not all that usually visible.
Now, as you look at the above chart very clearly, I don’t know if you can learn something new about the behavior of stock investors and stock traders. To me, I can imagine that you can really imagine learning something new, and something different from the chart above today, and years from now, and you will still find yourself coming back here over and over. Now, let’s look at Trend Line A closely.
The Trend Line A - What does it mean to Dow Jones stock buyers? To Dow Jones stock buyers, this is a friend because it has supported them for 5 months, until last months. Note, that we are dealing with the monthly highs and lows data of the last 12 months here. What does it mean to sellers?
To Dow stock sellers, this has been working against them in the last 5 months, but they finally violated it last month. What does that mean? That could mean that Dow stock sellers are gaining part of their control. For Dow stock sellers to maintain their aggression, they will have to be able to maintain their lows, which is something that we may look at after this month. Notice, that Dow stock buyers still have the total control of Dow Jones Industrial Average.
The Bottom Line - What's it, really? Despite the fact that the technical support Trend Line A has been violated by stock selling pressure in this example, don’t forget that stock buyers have been controlling Dow stock index in the last 7 months.
Technically, Dow stock buyers are not showing any powerful weakness here. Therefore, I would expect stock buyers to still control this Dow Jones Industrial Average until they fail to make a new high this months, and see Dow stock sellers make a new fresh low.
